Design and Finish
The 2016 MAKO 234 CC is among the best of its class with an aggressive V-hull design and composite structure throughout. The hull is foam injected with a one-piece integrated, finished fiberglass stringer grid. The bow layout maximizes the most usable deck space and provides ample room for walk room.
The boat has a list of many other standard features like a top-loading anchor locker, plus two insulated fishboxes with drains, large bilge access service hatch, self-bailing cockpit, and bait station with 35 gallon baitwell, tackle storage and sink with raw water. The MAKO 234 has an option for a console head enclosure with Porta Potti.
Speed and Performance
The 234 performance is industry leading and is a true front-runner in its size class. A wide flared bow to keeps the spray down and delivers a smooth dry ride even in the most rugged conditions. The MAKO 234 has flexible power options to give you plenty of speed and range. It runs on a deep 21 degree dead rise hull, with a 30 inch transom and a 136 gallon fuel tank. The standard power on the 234 is a single 250 horsepower Mercury outboard. It can also be rigged with a 300 horsepower Mercury Verado or twin 150 four strokes.
